The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has uploaded the details of 27 governorship candidates and their running mates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP) ahead of the August 8 deadline.
This signalled the resolutions of issues surrounding the governorship primaries in states where the contests were contentious.
Only one state in the Northeast is yet to be uploaded with party leaders expected to finalise the choice of a deputy governorship candidate.
